Our first Hosted Journey was a small group, but it was a huge success, and we all made some great memories!

Some of us arrived in Boston early to explore the city. We had the perfect tour guide for our food and walking tour! Not only did we taste some incredible food, but we also visited several stops on the Freedom Trail. After our tour, we explored some additional unique stops on our own. 

We met the rest of our group on embarkation day after boarding the ship. Serenade of the Seas is a smaller ship, and the crew was one of the best we ever had! This was a very port-intense itinerary, and our group booked the same excursions through the cruise line. Acadia National Park was everyone's favorite. The weather wasn't perfect in every port of call, but we made the best of our time! 

We enjoyed dinner in the main dining room each evening as a group. Due to the smaller size of our ship, it was easy to find members of our group throughout the day. We shared several additional meals at the Windjammer (buffet) and attended evening shows together.

Disembarkation day came too soon, and this trip was over way too fast! We took the cruise line's airport transfer, and since we all flew with the same airline, we could get on the same bus. Departing from the same terminal allowed us additional time as a group, and we enjoyed lunch together before saying goodbye.

This was an enjoyable cruise! Daniela was so very helpful in booking our tours she made sure everything was as perfect as could be. She had transportation waiting for us to connect to the airport to the ship. She was very thorough in planning and if we had any questions she explained. She brings a wealth of knowledge, and was very helpful in making this an awesome trip. She even helps with the little details. We ourselves had planned to make this trip in 2020, but the pandemic stopped our plans. I’m thankful that we let Daniela plan this trip. She helped us to avoid many headaches that we didn’t think about when planning our earlier trip. She sent reminders of when to check in with cruise line, what documents would be needed, and other helpful info on traveling. And with her and her family on the trip with us, we were able to learn many things about the cruise industry, and travel vacations in general, that we weren’t aware of.
